Entry Thinking about journeys . . .

WHY CANT I LOSE WEIGHT!!!!   Never mind the spectacular 42 pounds I weighed today less than my recorded high - it was still 6 pounds higher than my low just a couple weeks ago.  My trend has been going up.  My highs are higher, my weekly lows are higher.  My agonizing plateau officially ended with a climb upward.  I avoided it for awhile by just not logging my higher weights - but they are sticking around and harder to ignore!

There is nothing to do but try to stay positive, keep counting, keep exercising, keep eating veggies and cooking low-cal dinners.

What am I supposed to do?  I am not like the crash dieter, who can leave everything behind and hoof it up the weight loss mountain.  I am dragging my life up here!

First, ((hugs))

Have you posted this in the weight loss or motivation forum yet?  I'm amazed at the great ideas and tips people share.  I also notice that the more specifics a person shares, the better advice they get back.

If you share how many calories, your height/weight/age, activity level, general health...you'll probably get a lot of info.

I feel like I have heard it all before.  (And given it all before!)  I am pretty discouraged but it IS the day before my TTOM.  I'm sure things will look rosier tomorrow.
