Okay, I feel like "I'm Back" on the exercise today. Last night after I journaled about breaking my walk into two parts, I fell asleep and didn't get up until this morning, so I just had the 30 minute work-out.
Tonight, while watching Biggest Loser, I did half my walk at an incline of 5.0 and then the other half at 6.0. Yeah, that's what I did today to make me feel proud. (Love that theme song!) I felt tonight's hour with lots and lots of sweat!
I took my husband's grandmother out today and we did some early Christmas shopping. We had lunch at Red Lobster and I found some very low-cal choices and it was delicious. I even budgeted enough calories for two Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Yum! They were great. I had grilled shrimp, broccoli, and a garden salad with red wine vinegrete. According to the Red Lobster website and CC, my great lunch was only 620 calories!!!
The jeans I bought at Lane Bryant 4 weeks ago are getting very loose! I guess I'll be washing and wearing them each day over fall break to get my $39.50 out of them!
Good for you on workout success. That was nice for DH grandmother i bet she enjoyed it also and i am so glad you enjoyed your lunch. Cheddar bay bisquits yum yum. I love those cheddar biscuits. Mmmmmmm... I wore a pair of pants the other day that were way too tight last winter and now I need a belt to hold them up, I love that lose pant feeling!! I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your treadmill investment. |
