Entry Pretty bummed. =(

Found the PERFECT wedding venue. Almost everything was included, it was a GREAT price, it was beautiful, it was absolutely everything I wanted.

However, I assumed when I searched "North Georgia" weddings that was what I'd get.

I also assumed Pine Mountain Georgia would be somewhere where there was... I dunno... MOUNTAINS.

No, instead, this is way in South Georgia where it's totally inconvient for everyone to go.

UGH. What a was of an hour of excitement.

Oh, wedding planning!  I remember all that.  I've been married since 2002.  At that time, I was in college and working 40 hours a  week.  I picked out my wedding dress and let my mother plan the rest.  She enjoyed doing it and I just couldn't handle the hassle.  I really wanted to elope, but she talked me out of it.  I do kind of regret not having more of my own personal flair involved.

I'm expecting zero help from my mother. She had a tiny wedding with five to ten witnesses and that was it, the first time. The second time she just went down to the courthouse on her work break. I, however, feel pressured into having a larger wedding because we're both the eldest in our families and extended families. (My sister is happy though because my big wedding will make her eloping more acceptable, haha!)

I'm just really bummed because it included everything from photography, flowers, food, and everything. And considering I'll have no help from my mother, that was really helpful.

I sympathize though because I'm in school right now taking six classes. It's way too much stress so I'm just gathering preliminary details at the moment and planning it for 2010. That way, I have a whole year to find a place. Which, right now, that's what it's looking like it'll take... >_<
