Well I'm in the 201s. But I won't count myself as reaching my goal of 200 unless I see that weight on my scale for three days in a row. Since my weigh in is on Saturday, this means that I need to start seeing that 200 as of tomorrow.
But tonight my best friend comes home for his Fall Break. We're going to get together to watch the debate and order a pizza. I have quite literally only had scambled eggs and an apple for the ENTIRE day so far to save my calories for the pizza.
It's going to ruin my weigh in, I know. But I never get to see my best friend any more. He goes to school 1.5 hours away and has a part-time job. Since I work and go to school full-time, we just never seem to be free for visiting. So tonight we're going to hang out, discuss politics, and just catch up. We go for weeks without talking during the school year, but it always feels like 'home' when we do, even if it's been a while. If that makes sense.
In other news, today Maddie and I ran Day 1/Week 2 of the C25K program. The iPod Shuffle I ordered from Apple came in yesterday, and I was so excited to get it that I almost went running right then and there. However my knees were very sore and I didn't want to risk injuring myself even more, so I waited until today.
And it was awesome! I had to try clipping the Shuffle three different places before I figured out that the collar of my shirt would work best. It made holding Maddie's leash and controlling her when we went by other dogs a LOT easier. Now if only I could figure out a way to keep my hair from falling out of it's ponytail and going into my eyes. Maybe I'll go buy a headband for running next..
