I must get down and pick petunias for a last bouquet. I can feel that our summer color is about to sucumb to the changing season. I woke with Godiva behind me and Sonny kit in front- for sure cooler! We'll be turning on the heater soon. The huge plastic Jack O Lantern out front is silly yet welcome: life is no good without a laugh. Jack rode in the front passenger seat over the Pass- ( I found him on one of my Western trips) I giggled at construction workers, wondering what they thought cause Jack took up all the room possible. The silly face beaming at them as we drove by.
I put an inquiry on the Animal Shelter's phone yesterday. Probably too early to have gotten it. We walked about 2 miles yesterday.
Today: too much back pain. For sure headed to the pool after the library. The nasty reality is that this spine junk correlates with how arthritis behaves: colder weather equals more pain. Giving up is not an option. By this afternoon, the pain will probably ease some. I am grateful that our appliances work; we've had the stove element go out and its no fun to replace. I am grateful for the machines that make my life easier.
i hope she turns up. |
