Yea, that's how I feel!  Aye Caramba!  We went Cuban tonight. We were slated to go to Thinking Man Tavern for pint-night and the 3rd Prez debate throwdown, but it was so packed we couldn't even find a place to park!  We just knew dinner was outta the question.  Still, good to know that biz is good for them.  I like the place, despite it being a bit of a dump - the food is pretty good and the so is the beer. I don't mind being ogled by the stoner-cook. 

So we were all showered, shaven & madeup and hungry.  So we went to La Fonda.  It was really good.  So good, in fact, that I ate the grilled chicken burrito AND all but the last 3 bites of the black beans & rice that came with it.  I think I ate like 800 calories!  I feel like a beached whale!  I laid down on my back on the bed and my stomach actually gurgled and sloshed!  I feel gross!  At least I didn't have beer.  I just had some water with lemon.  He had a mojito.  I'd never had one, tasted it, YUK!  I really don't like rum.  On the rare occasions when I drink liquor its vodka - no taste, just mixers.  That mojita tasted like toothpaste!

So I am still floating around 150 - in the mornings.  I am prolly around 158 right now!  I don't wanna know.  No way am I gettin' the scale right now!  Life is hard enough.  Matter of fact, I may wait a couple of days before trying my luck with the digital-demon!

So A is working again.  Its good that work is coming in, even though I miss him being around all day.  But the time we have together is really good.  I haven't been really engaged in the community here the last couple of days.  Been either with him or working on the house.  It needs attention.  So does he. 

My bro-in-law is getting married this month.  So lots of familial-festivities around that.  I have to buy a dress.  I tried the one dress I have that would have been fabulous and broke the zipper!  Its a size 3!  I think I'm an 8 now!  I have no idea what to get or where to go.  I suppose I will be visiting some thrift stores.  I am soooo tempted to get some old, faded bride-maid's dress from like 1960 (like Marla Singer in Fight Club) and wear it with stiped leggings and combat boots; maybe wear a little vodka like perfume!  I dunno.  I feel belligerent.
