Well, if she is stubborn, then you are going to have to be more so.  You do not want an unruly, untrained dog destroying your house and your life.  Of course, had she not been stubborn, she probably would not have survived life until you got her.

I think that all dogs are stubborn!!  Keep up with training her and STAY CONSISTENT!!  I have had to stop leaving my pup at my fiances house for many reasons, but the biggest is that she has no rules there, when she comes home she can't differentiate.  I feel like I am starting at the beginning again.  I feel bad because it is a long day for her to be inside in my house, but I can't have her being naughty and not listen at my house.  Consistency is the best thing for your furry friend!

One more thing, just in case the vet did not discuss with you, make sure to give her heart worm medicine every month.  You don't what that to become an issue for her on top of all the other infestation.
