Week 9 run 2 completed. It seemed alot harder today!  My weight was up from last week. I am not surprised about that, just discouraged. I feel like I will be fat forever, even with exercising....I know it will happen someday....it is still just a little discouraging.

**EDIT** Tomorrow I am going to try to start logging my calories. I KNOW this will help me lose weight. I just need to make the effort to do it, and find the time. I think I can make a difference by Christmas. That would be great.

Try planning/logging your meals for the next day after the kids are in bed.  Then all you have to do is delete what you didn't eat and add any extras you ate.  That's what I do to save time.  And feel free to join my 10% by New Years group for extra motivation!

I can emphasize with you. It took me 8 years to finally make initial goal. I lost the first 20 quickly, then plateaued. I was still at 200 when we moved to Fort Worth 5 yrs ago. Dropped to 190 and hovered again until last Nov. I was exercising 6 days/wk, sometimes 2x/day. I went back to my old weight watchers basics of weigh & measure everything and it finally started to come off. Then the heart attack and another plateau which I finally broke by starting running. Am again at a plateau with lots of edema and lack of sleep screwing things up. But we have to stick to it because the change in lifestyle is what we need to make it all worthwhile. It will serve us well by allowing us options we wouldn't have if we stayed heavy. So hang in there. You can do this and make it permanent!
