I thought about things last night (the possibilty of getting laid off). I decided that if I get laid off I would check with our 911 call center about getting a job. They are usually hiring. Not the job I want but at least it would be a job and I wouldn't lose any of my benefits. Secondly I realized that this is the budget for next year so I should be safe until next summer. But I will still try to be good because you never know.
My stomach still hurts (no side effects though). I went to bed early because I was tired but tossed and turned all night.
At least, if you got the job at the 911 center, we could all call you more often. |
Ok, Thonx almost made me spit out my coffee. "ZOMG I has an emergensee big time but I can only has KIM! KIM NAO! kthx..... O hai Kim! So what's up?" I know it's easy to say this and hard to actually follow it, but try not to worry too much. This is one of those things that, if they're going to cut staff stricktly for budgetary reasons, you cannot control. No use wasting energy and worrying yourself sick over something you can't control. Still, I know how you feel. The automotive group I work for has nine dealerships and right now, two of them are carrying the entire group. I think everybody's a little worried right now, but it will eventually get better. {{Kim}} |
I meant "strictly." Strike that extra "k." :P |
I agree with Kim. Don't sweat it too much right now. You may have been there the least amount of time, but you're a good worker and you do your job. They'd be fools to let you go. (calls 911) Oh hai, is dis Kim? I needz Kim plzkthx. |
operator:hello this is 911. How may I direct your call? For fire push !, for ambulance push 2, for police push 3, for kim please hold the line. She will be with you shortly. Your calls will be answered in the order they were received. me: *holds the line* Oh, great, this early in the day & I'm 4 th in line. |
Hehehe @ Buggy Me: Chaaaaaaah, like I want to wait all morning. Being on hold is so Ashley. I'm glad the budget keeps your job safe until next year! Hopefully by then any uncertainty will have blown over. {{{Kim}}} |
