Okay, I hit 1312cals yesterday- and ate LOADS! LOL! I can do this, I know I can. Eating less is not a problem, I've survived most of my life in starvation mode (not that you'd know it to look at me!)- it's eating enough that will be my bugbear? Never again will I do the 'eat less to lose more' diet thats been drilled into me since childhood. I'm more educated now (and will ignore all the 'diets' in the popular magazines promising to lose "x"lbs in 2weeks), so if it takes me longer to lose but it stays off in the long run- then so be it. I'm a lot calmer about everything at the minute. I'm feeling positive, and healthy...oh, and I'm down 1lb this morning! 
I identify with your situation. I am now down 12 pounds but have 28 to go. Went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and she said you need to eat more. There I sit with those unwanted pounds and she wants me to eat more. But I have been doing it and slowly but surely it is coming off. I have never lost weight this slowly before, have gained it much faster of course. Good luck and don't starve! We are running a marathon not a sprint! Barbara |
You are doing the right thing and that pound lost is the proof. Just keep going and remember to focus on creating good, life long habits instead of dieting techniques. I'm so happy for you!
