Entry Getting Out of the Lazy Rut

wow, i have been really lazy about keeping track here lately. at least i've managed to maintain my weight, but my goal is to lose, not maintain. so somehow these last couple days i got the motivation out of nowhere (well maybe not nowhere) to start really watching myself and keeping track of what i eat. i'm proud, even though it's been a couple days. any improvement is good :)

i'm especially happy because i went with my family to this amazing italian restaurant tonight, and instead of having an italian soda or lemonade or whatnot, I got water, and i had a salad instead of soup, and I didn't pig out on my rigatoni pasta. I ate until i was full and then i put the rest (which was like a ton) into a box and so i will have that for lunch tomorrow. and maybe the next day. it was a lot of pasta...

so anyways, i'm feeling good about this and hoping i'll keep motivating myself to take the time to get on here and just write down what i eat, every time i do i see an improvement in how and feel and even my weight. so i'm cheering myself along, and trying for 136 by the end of the school year!

I'm glad to see you're back!

It takes 21 days to reinforce a habit, so maybe if you're on here logging everything everyday, you can start losing again AND creating a new habit. :D

It's a pretty sweet deal if you decide to commit to it. ;)
