Entry AH! HA!

So have you ever had an AH HA moment. I have, I had on when I started this journey. I looked at my husband and knew that he might not be here for the kids if the cancer decided to come back. We were only a few months out of the Radiation when I woke up and decided that it was time to get into the pool. Since than I have lost a lot of weight and than I have maintained with only an 18 pound fluctuation since may. I am really happy about that. Do not get me wrong. But I had another moment.

A friend of mine said that she had noticed that I was getting a BIT THICK. No I didn't take it wrong or was mad with her. I am thankful that she brought my sight to it again. Than a lady that works with my youngest son at his school saw my mom the other night and she was telling her how much she and her husband love me. What an inspiration I have been to them. (insert here a shocked look to my face) That it had been me that made them get a hold of the local team in training division so that they could start training for 5 and 10K's and than the possible Tri next year.

Shocked it took me a while to soak that all in. I love this gal she is so sweet. But I had no idea that I was the one that had pushed her to do something for herself. So yet again I have an AH HA moment. I had said that I would do the paper article if I could change just ONE PERSONS life. And apparently I did. But not just one. I helped her and her husband. And they are part of the team in training because it benefits the type of cancer that my husband had. So here I sit. Humbled. It wasn't that I had given up it was that I had gotten laxed out. And it is time to get myself really into this again. This is my life and my kids are depending on me. Not to mention I have more people watching than I realized.

So today... I went to the pool early, Hit the gym and did my weights. Hit the pool and hit it hard. I only did 2300 yards got out 15 min. early.... But I will be riding my bike for BL tonight. So That will be a 2 hour ride. I know that I have to save something up for that. ;0 I will do my best to be right on track for my calories and I am not going to falter any time soon. I am ready for this again. 130 here I come.

Now completely off the subject.......... It is a winter wonder land here today!!!!

and I am walking in it.

Enjoy today

Jenn

Those moments are great to have, I am sure. I have only been an inspiraton to one lady in our diet support group.  She is / was amazed at how I handled our budget with hubby out of work that year.

And you can keep the snow!

Take care and God Bless

Isn't it nice to know what an impact you've had positively on someone!  You just never know who is watching and taking notes!

So jealous of the snow! Send some this way....our zip is 23518;)

It's always a good feeling when you "find out" you've made a difference in someone's life.  In fact, it's great!!!

You can keep the snow!  My kids are ready for it.  It was 85 degrees here yesterday!!!  Today was cooler with rain (which we needed).

I am not surprised that you made a difference in someone's life. You are an amazing person! You inspire many of us here all the time. Good luck with staying on track. I'm excited to see your progress.

As for the snow, please keep it! I am not looking forward to winter. I would much rather be warm then cold.
