Facing reality

Well, I weighed in this morning and have now LOGGED my weight - gains since Sept.  On the plus side I have lost a pound since Monday's SS weigh in.  I have worked in the yard again today -  tried to finish planting flowers and we borrowed the neighbor's tractor so we have planted our winter veggie garden, too.  That should be worth a few lbs lost when I weigh in again.  We did go out to breakfast this morning and I ate a little too much but we didn't stop to have lunch, either.  Weren't really hungry and the wee one was busy directing operations from his sand box.  He's now passed out side ways in his daddy's recliner with his "big cold milkie" clinched in his fist.  He couldn't stay awake to finish it but doesn't want it to disappear.  He is a funny little guy.

You know, I so want to get back on track and get this weight off.  I don't want him growing up ashamed of his mommy and her weight.  I also don't want him to have a weight problem, either.  Diabetes runs in the family (in-laws, not mine) and that is an added concern with his weight.  Worry about his daddy, too, but if he won't give up the ice cream and beer there's nothing I can do about it.  He is good about getting regular check ups and does know he has to keep his eye on the sugar.....
