Entry Fallen off the wagon, want to get back on...

Well, even though I have changed my body enough that I fit size 6 jean (and I haven't worn JEANs in decades...) and small in shirts and dresses, I just have been coasting.

I have my regular workouts, and my not so regular running goals.

I haven't been taking my vitamins regularly, like I had been when I was steadily losing inches and fat, now I'm just kinda hanging out, without a plan, without a lot of enthusiasm for what I am doing.

I went to go for a short run yesterday, just the standard loop that I used to walk.  I had thought that I warmed up enough before I left, but I got such a horrible shin cramp that I had to stop running in order to address.  I just walked home from there and tried to stretch it out, my left leg was pretty out of whack, my left foot turning inward a startling amount.  Really need to get back to stretching and long warm ups.

And dammit, I still haven't eaten today and it's past 1PM.  I can't seem to type either...

Oh Ang...  Those kind of days are terrible.  It's so hard when you lose enthusiasm, but I bet you know just what the prescription for getting yourself back on track.  Just take the first step.  If it's too hard today, make the plan for tomorrow and get yourself all set up for succeeding.

Everybody has slumps.  I'm amazed I lost the weight I did with the lousy schedule I've had and not watching my diet as carefully as I should.

You know that your body is getting ready for the drop in weight, and it is fighting it off.  Don't give up when you are on the verge of success.  It might be tomorrow or the next day or next week.  It took me 6 weeks to lose those 5 lbs.  I was ready to give up several times... but I didn't.

Another idea is to do the Slimfast thing for a few days just to get back in the groove.

It seems like the interval training in the morning helps get me into a good place for keeping my goals in the front of my mind throughout the day.

Or, you could do like Hideo does when he needs to.  He writes lists of stuff on his hands with ink - sometimes both hands.

It might be time to underdo some things like exercise also.  Maybe your body is tired from too much exercise.

You can do it.  You're my model.  We're gonna turn heads when we get together in December.

Here are some hugs ((((((hugs)))))
