Baked Acorn Squash with Apples Recipe

Cinnamon apple stuffed acorn squash

Ingredients
1/2 acorn squash, whole
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp chopped pecans
1/2 granny smith apple
Directions
  1. Cut acorn squash in half, place cut side down in shallow baking dish with 1' water and bake for 30 minutes.

  2. Chop 1/2 granny smith apple and mix in bowl with cinnamon, pecans, brown sugar, and nutmeg.

  3. Turn squash halves over and fill with apple mixture. Cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes or until squash is fully cooked and fork tender.
