Cinnamon apple stuffed acorn squash
| 1/2 | acorn squash, whole |
| 1/2 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp nutmeg |
| 1 | tbsp brown sugar |
| 1 | tbsp chopped pecans |
| 1/2 | granny smith apple |
- Cut acorn squash in half, place cut side down in shallow baking dish with 1' water and bake for 30 minutes.
- Chop 1/2 granny smith apple and mix in bowl with cinnamon, pecans, brown sugar, and nutmeg.
- Turn squash halves over and fill with apple mixture. Cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes or until squash is fully cooked and fork tender.
