Modified Nut Roll Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups soy flour
1/2 cup milk, at 105 degrees
1/3 cup butter
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp yeast
8 oz walnuts
1/2 cup milk, hot
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
Directions
cream together 1/3 cup butter with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 egg. combine 105 degree milk with yeats until dissolved. Add 1/4 cup flour and set aside. add the rest of the flour to the butter, sugar and eggs and then add in the milk and flour mixture. knead until smooth. cover and set in warm place for 1 1/2 hours. in the mean time, combine the ground walnuts, sugar, butter and hot milk. set aside to cool. when the dough is ready, roll out very thin and fill with nut mixture. bake at 375 for 35 minutes. mine got a little dark so next time i will cover loosly with foil until the last 10 minutes.
