Same another pepper steak here but no tomatos and only 1 T oil
| 1 | lb steak, round |
| 2 | tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | tbsp soy sauce |
| 1/8 | tsp black pepper, ground |
| 1 | tbsp cornstarch |
| 1 | tbsp olive oil |
| 1/2 | cup water (or beef stock) (or wine) |
| 1 | cup green pepper, (sliced) |
| 1 | cup red pepper (sliced) |
| 1 | large onion, sliced |
| 1 | cup mushrooms, sliced |
- Cut meat into thin strips.
- Combine next 4 ingredients in glass bowl.
- Add meat and toss to coat.
- Drain meat well.
- Heat oil in large skillet and brown the meat.
- Stir in water (or stock) and marinade; cover & simmer for 1/2 hour.
- Add green peppers, onion and mushrooms; simmer until tender -5 to 10 minutes.
