Tex-Mex Burgers Recipe

Hamburgers with a Tex-Mex kick.

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c cilantro
4 oz canned green chilies (diced)
1 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp Minced garlic
1/2 medium onion, sliced for grilling
1/2 cup salsa
2/3 medium avocado ( diced)
Directions
  1. Combine beef, 1/4 cup cilantro, chilies, chili powder, and garlic until mixed thoroughly. Form into equal patties.

  2. Grill patties and onion until desired doneness.

  3. Serve patties garnished with salsa, avocado, and remaining cilantro. Add cheese and sour cream for an added touch.
