Beans and Rice-Black Recipe

Makes 2 servings


Black beans over rice

Ingredients
3 cups brown rice, cooked
1 3/4 cups black beans, canned
1 clove garlic
1/2 small onion
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
Directions
  1. Put beans and liquid into sauce pan along with everything but rice.

  2. Simmer for five minutes, or until chopped onion is tender.

  3. Serve over rice. Good with sour cream.
