a good source of protein for vegetarians

Ingredients
1 1/3 c vital wheat gluten
1 cup water
Directions
  1. mix and kneed together water and wheat gluten

  2. roll into a log about 2' diameter

  3. slice into 1/2 inch sections

  4. simmer in vegetable broth for approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally

  5. store frozen, or refrigerated in the broth

  6. can be eaten in stir frys, wraps, or just with brown rice and soy sauce.
