Flour Tortillas Recipe

Basic flour tortilla recipe

Ingredients
1 cup white flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white flour (for rolling out dough)
Directions
  1. Mix 1 cup of flour with the dry ingredients.

  2. Add oil and mix well.

  3. Add water, mix until dough is sticky.

  4. Continue adding flour until the dough is soft and does not stick to your hands.

  5. Taking 1-2 inch round balls, roll out with a rolling pin till the tortillas are very thin.

  6. Cook on high in a hot pan both sides. Lightly oil the pan if desired.

  7. Serve or store in air tight container for later use.
