Nathan's Vegan Pinto Beans

Makes 8 servings

a slow cooker's dream

Ingredients
1/2 chopped onion
2 cups dried pinto beans
4 cups water
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder
Directions
  1. Chop the onion. Wash the beans. Pour both with the water into a slow cooker. Add salt, pepper, and other spices, and set the slow cooker on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
