Spiced Butter Bean Dhal Recipe

yummy mopped up with a garlic and coriander naan

Ingredients
4 ounces red lentil
8 ounces onion, chopped
450 ml stock, vegetable
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
235 grams cooked butter beans
Directions
place all ingredients(apart from beans)in a saucepan, bring to the boil, add the butter beans, reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 30 minutes or until lentils are soft.
