Toad in The Hole Recipe

Makes 5 servings


Sausages cooked in Yorkshire pudding.

Ingredients
20 oz Sausage meat
4 oz plain flour
2 medium eggs
1/2 pint milk
1 tbsp olive oil
10 oz broccoli
5 medium carrots
5 oz green beans
Directions
  1. Make Yorkshire pudding mix:

  2. place flour in mixing bowl

  3. break the eggs into the flour

  4. add half the milk

  5. mix until smooth

  6. gradually add rest of milk

  7. heat large metal tin in oven

  8. cook sausages for 10 minutes

  9. Add Yorkshire mix over sausages

  10. cook for a further 10 - 12 minutes at 200C

  11. Boil veg as needed

  12. Serve.
