Barbecue Ribs and Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Makes 4 servings


Oma's awesome mashed potaotes and barbecued ribs.

Ingredients
2 lbs. beef back ribs
2 cups barbecue sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
6 red potatoes
8 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon salt
Directions
  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over ribs.

  2. Bake ribs at 350 for 20 minutes or until desired doneness.

  3. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs.

  4. Bring 2 qts of water to a boil.

  5. Salt water.

  6. Clean potatoes under running water and drop in boiling water.

  7. Cook until fork tender.

  8. Drain off excess water. Pour potatoes into a bowl with milk and butter.

  9. Mix until creamy.
