Whole Wheat Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 cup skim milk
1 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp salt
Directions
  1. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt.

  2. Combine egg, milk, and oil. Add all at once to flour mixture, stirring until blended but still slightly lumpy.

  3. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot, lightly-greased griddle or a heavy skillet for each pancake.

  4. Cook until golden brown, turning to cook other side when pancakes have a bubbly surface and slightly dry edges.
