Ingredients
| 1/4 |
pound bittersweet chocolate |
| 1/4 |
pound semisweet chocolate |
| 1/2 |
cup heavy cream |
| 1 |
tbls coffee |
| 1/4 |
tsp vanilla extract |
Directions
- chop the cocolates finely witha sharp knife. place themin a heat-proof mixing bowl.
- heat the cream in a small sauce pan until it just boils. Turn off the heat and allow the cream to sit for 20 seconds. Pour cream through a fine meshed sieve into the bol with chocolate.
- With a wire whisk, slowly stir the cream and chocolates together wuntil the chocolate is completely melted. Whisk in coffee and vanilla.
- Set aside at room tempurature for one hour
- With 2 teaspoons, sponn round balls of the chocolate mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Toll wach ball of cholcolate in your hands to roughly make it round.
- Roll in confectioners' sugar, cocoa powder or both. These will keep refigerated for week, but serve them at room temperature.
