When you don't have time to steam and roll cabbage, you can cook this on the stove top, or in your crock pot, instead. Tastes even better the next day.

Ingredients

lb ground beef, extra lean |
| 1 |
onion, chopped |
| 1/2 |
cup rice |
| 1/4 |
cup water |
| 5 |
cups cabbage, shredded |
| 2 |
teaspoons paprika |
| 1/4 |
teaspoon black pepper |
| 15 |
ounces tomato sauce |
Directions
- Brown beef and onion in a very large frying pan.
- Add remaining ingredients to pan and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce to medium low and simmer for at least 1 hour. Do not stir.
- Crock Pot: After browning beef and onion, put beef, onion and remaining ingredients into crock pot and cook for at least 4 hours on low setting.
- Each serving can be served with 2 tablespoons of no fat sour cream and 1 teaspoon chopped green onion.
