Paula Deen's Broccoli Salad Recipe

Makes 12 servings


This creamy broccoli salad is perfect for picnics.

Ingredients
3 cups broccoli, fresh and cut into bite-sized pieces
3 1/5 ounces bacon, approximately 6-8 strips, crumbled
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1/2 cup of raisins
8 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, cut into small chunks
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, mix broccoli pieces, bacon, onion, and cheese.

  2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, stirring well.

  3. Add to broccoli mixture. Toss gently.
