Basic chocolate fondue made with semisweet chocolate
| 1/2 | cup heavy cream |
| 1 | cup semisweet chocolate, grated |
| 1/2 | teaspoon vanilla extract |
- Set your electric fondue pot to low, or warm.
- Pour the heavy cream into the pot and warm through, about 2 minutes. Don't let it boil!
- Add the chocolate, while stirring with wooden spoon, until melted and smooth.
- Turn off the fondue pot, or set to the lowest setting.
- Add vanilla, stir. Serve immediately with your favorite fruits, cakes, marshmallows, pretzels, or anything else you want to dip in the chocolate!
