Basic chocolate fondue made with semisweet chocolate

Ingredients
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup semisweet chocolate, grated
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
  1. Set your electric fondue pot to low, or warm.

  2. Pour the heavy cream into the pot and warm through, about 2 minutes. Don't let it boil!

  3. Add the chocolate, while stirring with wooden spoon, until melted and smooth.

  4. Turn off the fondue pot, or set to the lowest setting.

  5. Add vanilla, stir. Serve immediately with your favorite fruits, cakes, marshmallows, pretzels, or anything else you want to dip in the chocolate!
