Puppy Chow Recipe

yummy dessert to share with neighbors, family, friends, or that nasty meater maid who always seems to be having a bad day.

Ingredients
5 cups sugar, powdered
8 cups Chex corn
1/3 cup peanut butter, creamy
1/2 cup chocolate
Directions
  1. melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together in a small sauce pan on the stove top.

  2. in a large mixing bowl, combine the rice and corn chex. Pour the melted chocolate-peanutbutter mixture over the chex and fold gently to coat evenly.

  3. Add the powdered sugar to a large brown paper grocery bag (be sure to check for wholes of tears). pour the chocolate-peanut butter coated chex into the paper bag.

  4. Fold the paper bag closed and shake until all the chex is coated with the powdered sugar.

  5. carefully pour on to a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to cool. (5-15 minutes)

  6. transfer the puppy chow into your favorite storage container and enjoy.
