Adapted from wellbeing.shaws.com by using conventional ketchup and cutting added salt. ground beef, quick-cooking oats, onion, ketchup, carrot, garlic, fresh parsley, egg, salt, pepper cvt

Ingredients
11 oz 95% lean ground beef, cooked per recipe, net from 16 oz fresh (23561)
1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup diced onion
3/8 cup (1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp.) ketchup, divided
1 carrot, shredded
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 large egg
3/8 tsp. (1/4 tsp plus 1/8 tsp) salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Combine beef, oats, onion, 1⁄4 cup of the ketchup, carrot, garlic, parsley, egg, salt and pepper in large bowl; stir to mix well. Transfer to prepared pan, shaping into 8x5-inch loaf. Spread remaining 2 tablespoons ketchup over top of loaf.

  3. Bake 45 minutes or until instant-read thermometer registers an internal temperature of 160°F. Cover loosely with foil; let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
