Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, diced
30 oz Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds, Canned, rinsed and drained
16 oz Diced Tomatoes
21 1/2 oz chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 oz dark chocolate
Directions
Brown the beef in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove it with a slotted spoon and set it aside, leaving some of the fat in the skillet. Saute the onion & garlic in the skillet until soft (approx 6min). In a large pot combine the browned beef, sauteed onions & garlic, beans, tomatoes, broth, spices & chocolate. Simmer on low for 1 hour. Makes 6 servings.
