| 1 | onion, diced |
| 3 | cloves garlic, diced |
| 30 | oz Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds, Canned, rinsed and drained |
| 16 | oz Diced Tomatoes |
| 21 1/2 | oz chicken broth |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 1/2 | tsp pepper |
| 1 | tsp chili powder |
| 1/2 | tsp cumin |
| 1/8 | tsp cayenne |
| 1/8 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1 | oz dark chocolate |
Brown the beef in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove it with a slotted spoon and set it aside, leaving some of the fat in the skillet. Saute the onion & garlic in the skillet until soft (approx 6min). In a large pot combine the browned beef, sauteed onions & garlic, beans, tomatoes, broth, spices & chocolate. Simmer on low for 1 hour. Makes 6 servings.Categories
