Using low fat ground beef, graham toast bread (4 slices), 1 egg, 1 tsp salt and an onion
| 400 | g lean ground beef |
| 90 | g Bread, Whole-wheat, Commercially Prepared |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 | tsp salt |
| 1 | onion |
- Make breadcrumbs from the bread (4 slices should be enough)
- Finely chop the onion
- Combine meat, bread crumbs and onion, and add the egg
- Mix well with hands (also remembering to add salt and herbs if you want)
- Make little meatballs (33g each?) - there should be 20 of them
- Put them on a baking tray covered with baking paper
- Put in the oven at 200C for about 10 mins (or until brown and cooked and sizzling)
- Serve with vegetables
