fast and easy

Ingredients
8 corn tortillas
1 lb hamburger, lean
1/4 head lettuce, shredded
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 lb cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup salsa
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions
  1. Shred cheese and lettuce.

  2. Chop onion. Brown, season and crumble burger. drain and keep warm.

  3. Pour oil into a small frying pan. heat oil on med-high. Using a stack of 5 paper towels to drain tortillas like an accordian, dip tortillas, one at a time, into hot oil for 3 or 4 seconds on each side. place into paper stack and repeat until all tortillas are heated.

  4. Assemble tacos by putting 2 spoonfuls of beef, a handful of cheese, a sprinkle of onions, and a handful of lettuce. use salsa according to taste.
