Grilled Apple Chicken Recipe

From "3 Fat Chicks on a Diet"

Ingredients
6 oz frozen apple juice concentrate
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp hot sauce
24 oz chicken breasts (6- 4oz breasts), boneless/skinless
Directions
  1. The night before: combine apple juice concentrate, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, thyme, and hot sauce in a small sauce pan.

  2. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

  3. Remove from heat and cool to room temp.

  4. Place chicken in a single layer 13x9" baking pan or large ziploc bag.

  5. Pour 1/2 ketchip mixture over chicken, turning once to coat both sides.

  6. Cover and refrigerate chicken and remaining mixture until the next day.

  7. Grill chicken breasts over medium-hot coals until done, basting occasionally with reserve apple-ketchup mixture.
