M 12/10/2007 Beef Crockpot Tagine Recipe

A simple beef tagine

Ingredients
1 lb. beef
1 1/2 lb. potatoes
14 oz. onions
10 oz. carrots
5 cloves garlic
1 beef bouillon cube
Directions
  1. Spices used: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, saffron, rosebuds, mint, salt, black pepper. Also lemon juice and white vinegar, about a tablespoonful of each.

  2. Put spices in container with bouillon cube and add boiling water to dissolve.

  3. Pour over cut-up meat in crockpot to marinate while cutting vegetables.

  4. Cook in crockpot.
