NYT No Knead Whole Wheat Bread

Makes 14 servings

crispy loaf

Ingredients
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon yeast
Directions
  1. stir together all

  2. let sit 24 hrs

  3. pour out on flour board and bring together

  4. flour two cotton towels(not terry)

  5. place formed loaf on towel and cover with other towel

  6. let rise 2 hrs

  7. heat oven 450 degrees

  8. put cast iron casserole with led in oven and heat for at least 1/2 hr

  9. Uncover bread and using towel pour into hot pan and cover with hot lif

  10. bake 1/2 hr and then uncover and bake 1/2 hr more. cool
