makes about 16 cups, serving size is about 1/2 cup, add 1/2 cup 2% milk for a nice 300 cal breakfast.
| 9 | c oats |
| 1 | c hazelnuts |
| 1 | c almonds |
| 1 | c sunflower seeds |
| 2 | c coconut |
| 1/2 | c sunflower oil |
| 1/2 | c honey |
| 1 | c dried cherries |
| 1 | c sultanas |
| 1 | c raisins |
- I make this much because it fits exactly in my glass jar :)
- I vary the ingredients... usually 1 part oats, 1/2 part nuts, 1/3 cherries, bit more oil and honey than is enough to coat the nuts.
- Heat the oil and the honey to combine a bit better. Pour the nuts into the oil / honey, largest first. Pour the now sticky nut goop into the oats. Add any fine ingredients.
- Bake around 400°F, stirring, until brown.
- Add fruits while hot!
- Let cool before putting in sealed container.
