Herbed Portobellos with Cheese Recipe

portobellow mushroom with cheese and fresh herbs

Ingredients
5 ounce mushroom
2 tablespoon fresh basil
2 tablespoon fresh oregano
1 tablespoon fresh thyme
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
  1. heat grill to medium direct heat. Meanhile, brush inside of caps with 1/2 tablespoon of the olive oil.

  2. Place caps, gill-side down, on grill. Brush with remaining olive oil. Grill, covered, 3 minutes.

  3. Turn mushroom cap. Sprinkle inside of mushrooms with herbs. Grill, covered, 4 to 8 minutes longer or until tender, spooning cheese into caps during last 1 to 2 minutes of grilling. Salt and pepper to taste.
