Lentils with Rice Recipe

vegetarian recipe

Ingredients
1 large onion
6 tbsp olive oil
1 1/4 cup lentils
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup long grain rice
Directions
  1. bring lentils to boil in quart of water

  2. put lid on and simmer 15 minutes

  3. add rice and simmer another 15 minutes

  4. dice onions

  5. fry onions in olive oil over medium heat for 12 minutes

  6. combine onions and lentils wth rice
