Small baked cakes, very easy to make, low in calories and great for a snack!
| 225 | g self-raising flour |
| 225 | g brown flour |
| 100 | g low-fat margarine |
| 1 | pinch salt |
| 100 | g splenda |
| 250 | ml skim milk |
| 100 | g raisins |
- rub together all dry ingredients.
- add raisins.
- slowly add milk to form a dough (it should not be too dry, if so add more milk).
- flatten dough on baking board and cut to shape - large or small rounds
- bake in oven at 220C (Gas mark 7 / 425F) for 12-15 minutes
- Ideally cover with teatowel while cooling to stop them getting too hard
- Enjoy with butter and jam! Especially warm
