Tempe's Moroccan Lamb Stew Recipe

A flavorful stew to be eaten with couscous

Ingredients
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 3/10 pounds lamb
2 cups onions
16 oz garbanzo beans, canned
1 cup red wine
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup raisins
Directions
  1. brown lamb

  2. saute onions and minced garlic for 5 mins

  3. add wine and orange juice

  4. simmer for 20 mins

  5. add garbanzos and raisins

  6. simmer for 10 mins
