Holiday Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

cup butter |
| 2 |
cups sugar |
| 3 |
eggs |
| 1 |
cup sour cream |
| 1 |
tsp vanilla extract |
| 5 3/4 |
cups flour |
| 2 |
tsps baking powder |
| 1/2 |
tsp baking soda |
| 1/2 |
tsp salt |
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Combine four, baking powder, bakign soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Cover; and refigerate overnight.
- On a lightly flowered surface, roll out dough to 1/8 in. thicknes. Cut with floured cookie cutters. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
- Tint frosting with food coloring and decorate cookies as desired.
