Basic Pancake recipe from about.com

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
Directions
  1. In a separate bowl add all dry ingredients together.

  2. In another bowl wisk 1 large egg add milk wisk again.

  3. Pour egg and milk into dry mixture and stir until blended.

  4. Makes about 8 5" pancakes. Two pancakes per serving.
