A yummy, spicy meal. Great for cool weather! The serving here is for 1/2 cup.
| 4 | cups water |
| 8 | green peppers, seeded |
| 3 | cups tomatillos, blended |
| 5 | cloves garlic |
| 1 | small onion |
| 2 | tspn salt |
| 3 | pounds pork, fresh, shoulder, blade, bone-in |
| 5 | potatoes, peeled, cubed |
- Chop up tomatillos and put in blender with water, garlic, onions, peppers and salt
- Put in large soup pan at medium heat
- Chop up pork into bite-sized pieces, trimming any extra fat.
- Add pork and bring to a boil for 20 minutes.
- Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occationally
- Change to medium heat, add potatoes and cook for 15 minutes more or until potatoes are tender
- Serve and enjoy!
