substitute sweetened dried cherries for raisins, cranberries, or blueberries.

Ingredients

cups white flour |
| 1 1/2 |
cups whole wheat flour |
| 1 3/4 |
cups sugar |
| 1 |
tbsp baking powder |
| 1 1/4 |
tsp baking powder |
| 1 1/2 |
tsp baking soda |
| 1 1/2 |
tsp kosher salt |
| 4 |
cups oatmeal |
| 2 |
cups butter |
| 1 1/2 |
cup raisins, sweetened dried cranberries, or cherries |
| 1 1/2 |
cup buttermilk |
| 1/2 |
cup sour cream |
Directions
- Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl
- Add butter chopped in small pieces
- Mix until blended
- Add butter milk
- With floured hands make 4 large disk about 1" thick
- Refridgerate for 2 hours or more
- Cut into small wedges, brush with sour cream and sprinkle large sugar grains.
- Bake 25 minutes 325 or until brown
