no bake chocolate cookies

Makes 12 servings

delicious, chocolaty no bake cookies, use whole rolled oats for optimum chewiness and nutritional benefit

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
6 tbs unsweetened cocoa
2 cups oats
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
  1. stir together cocoa and sugar, add milk and butter and cook over medium high heat stirring constantly until butter melts and mixture comes to a rolling boil.

  2. Boil 90 seconds stirring constantly then remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.

  3. when well incorporated, stir in oats then drop mixture by rounded spoonfuls onto foil or parchment paper, allow to cool completely then... well try not to eat too many ;)
