Ingredients

cups broccoli |
| 2 |
cups skim milk |
| 1/2 |
cup sour cream, low-fat |
| 1 1/2 |
cups onions |
| 1 |
tsp butter |
| 1/2 |
green pepper |
| 1/2 |
red pepper |
Directions
- Melt 1 tsp butter in soup pot.
- Saute onions, salt, bay leaf until translucent over medium heat.
- Add chopped pepper and chopped broccoli and 2.5 cups water. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- remove bay leaf and puree with milk.
- Whisk in sour cream and seasonings: nutmeg, sage, thyme, black pepper, white pepper.
- Serve with broccoli florets
