Venison Taco Soup

Makes 20 servings

Venison variation of Weight Watchers' Taco Soup

Ingredients
1 lb ground venison
16 oz canned tomato sauce
16 oz canned kidney beans (rinsed)
16 oz canned pinto beans (rinsed)
16 oz garbanzo beans (rinsed)
16 oz corn (undrained)
16 oz diced tomatoes
3 oz. diced green chilies
3 oz. ranch dressing
1 taco seasoning
1 1/2 cup water
Directions
  1. Brown 1 lb. very lean chopped meat (I used ground venison) with one larged diced onion in a large stew pot.

  2. Add:

  3. 16 oz canned tomato sauce

  4. 16 oz canned kidney beans (rinsed)

  5. 16 oz canned pinto beans (rinsed)

  6. 16 oz garbanzo beans (rinsed)

  7. 16 oz canned yellow corn (undrained)

  8. 16 oz canned diced tomatoes

  9. 1 3 oz. can of diced green chilies

  10. one packet of dry ranch dressing

  11. 1 packet of taco seasoning mix

  12. 1 1/2 cup water

  13. Heat to boiling. Immediately lower heat to simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with cilantro. Enjoy.
